Melodics provides plug-and-play support for the most popular MIDI keyboards on the planet, including MIDI pad controllers and drum kits - with custom remapping for everything else. And the idea that it could teach music theory is promising and exciting, but at the level I'm at, i'm just not seeing it. I don't know if it ever gets out of finger drumming or not, but would LOVE to do something other than drums. ![]() The constant weirdness and glitches has really dampened my enjoyment of the product. I am currently suffering another difficult lesson that is compounded astronomically by the inability to make it through the lesson without the audio failing after the first bar. The next time I logged in, it had me pass that specific lesson with almost no effort. I feel that a sliding scale is a horrible metric to base a performance on and that it should always be consistent. I emailed them and they told me that it was designed like that on purpose so that some lessons were "harder" than others. Melodics is described as app that adapts to your abilities and musical tastes to help you get better at playing keyboards, pad controllers, and drums and is an app. I was getting 30 out of 40 notes perfect, and the remaining ten were mistimed slightly, no missed notes - and it kept giving me a 27%. I had the same glitch, where a very beginner level lesson I couldn't pass.
